Couple of questions?

Ok, got a couple of jobs to do on my disco to get her up to scratch, mainly through lack of use i think. So an help or opinions would be appreciated:

1. Wipers. They are really really slow, is this a common problem with motor/assembly needing lubricating or should i just change the motor? They do work, but they are REALLY slow on all speeds?

2. Steering is not quite as pin sharp as my other disco was, is it adjustable? I know ive got a minor leak on the steering box, which will be done in New Year, so can steering be adjusted at same time?

3. Bits of trim i need. I need 2 blanks for the electric window console, the new panel was from a disco with 4 electric windows, and mine obviously only has 2, so any ideas of anywhere to get them from. Also grill on back door that covers the speakers.

Couple of other silly jobs i can sort. Ordered my manual which was posted today, but i wont get till late next week if im lucky.

for the wipers first check the cable connections for any looseness,could be a faulty relay, failing that its probably the wiper moter needs replacing.

stiff steering, first cheak the lubricant level, could be a seized track-rod end ball joint. is the steering pump drive belt adjusted correctly ! or it might just be incorrect front wheel alignment. or at the very worse steering box or column damaged.

i dont know weather you go on ebay but you can usely pick up bits and piece's on there for your disco. theres some 300 front lights on at the moment 40 quid each if your still thinking of that upgrade.

I have been using ebay alot too! Cant go wrong really as so so cheap!
