Cooper s/t tyre questions

Hi
Didnt really know where to put this so here goes!
What are the cooper s/t tyres like?
Are they ok for green laning and genral ROAD use?
Iv looked around and can get new ones for £90.70 each, fitted!
Is that a good price and will 235/70/16 fit a standard 200 tdi discovery 1?
Iv looked all over the place and cant find any "cheap" tyres, but if anyone knows of any mail order places or fitting places in the west midlands please let me know! Fank you!!!!

Oh and on a "tarty" note what do they look like and have they got white lettering on them like the ones in the booklet? Im not a tart honest! haha

I had a set of stt's, found them a good all round tyre, better than bfg's on the road in the wet, a good lane tyre, the only problem i found was with clay but it' hard to find a tyre good on road and clay, but your asking about st's so that's not a lot of help

i got the st ones on no road noise at all !
off road they ant to bad either but they dont like wet grass !!
and yes they do have the white lettering on them but its your choice if you choose to hve them faceing inwards or outwards , as they are not a directional tyre !
over all they ant a bad tyre
i got mine last year for £70 each and payed a tenner for fitting and balenceing each wheel

yeah they are the ones but its no cheaper by the time iv paid carrage and fitting, good price still tho!
