convert freelander from cable windows to electric mechanical regulator

im looking for any incite from ppl out there

i have a freelander with cable operated electric windows and they are rubbish as they constantly fail. my question is could i use a mechanical electric regulator from a rover or mg or other vehicle or is there a kit that can convert the freelander to have mechanical electric regulator or would i have to get one made specially for the freelander

Rear windows can be converted to manual winders, as per the early 5 door models

Might be an idea to pop a message on the 'introduce yourself' page just in case folks think you've only come on here to use it as a free trouble shooting method instead of a Freelander community area
