conversion to hard top

can one of these be converted to a hard top?

Yep easy, you'l need to buy a rear door and then buy the hard top preferably as 1 piece not as seperates, dead easy to swap the t/c

you dont know how tempted i am to do the oppersite! Maybe a swap of roof and door?

just seen 2 on the bay alot cheaper than hardtops

I know this is an old thread (and Im a quiet forum member!) but just how difficult is this to do?
Un bolt the truck cab and simply bolt on the hard top? Plus notify the DVLA and your insurers obviously!
Ive been without a green oval leaking oil on the drive for two years and the other halfs german soft roader needs squishing out of the way.
Seen one or two truck cab TDi's going for the right money and could be a potential lock down 2 project?
