Spammer, you'll be lucky to find ANYBODY to fix your car in 10 years. So
go throw dirt if you want to but beware it might fly back in your face.

Instead of placing blame on the lowly mechanic and his struggling shop, aim
higher at the source of your perceived automotive repair debacle: the
manufacturers themselves.

How do you expect the mechanic with a boxful of Snap-On tools to fix your
car right the first time when there are 69 black boxes, the internal
workings kept propriatary secrets? How do you expect the mechanic to fix
your car for what you think are fair prices when every model that comes
along needs 69 special tools, none of which are cheaper than $69? There
are about 69 more items in this list.

You have set up a .org site, but the $69 question to ask is it the site
itself a "rippoff" purporting to address the auto repair "rippoffs?"

If a mechanic knows that he is asked to repair a piece of junk- why in
the hell does he even attempt to fix it in the first place? Mechanics
should ADVERTISE on a BIG SIGN in front of their shops- for instance:

"WE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR ANY JUNK CAR OR DEFECTIVE CAR PART:
(Like Saturn cylinder heads that crack due to casting flaws, or Saturn
ball joints that wear out in a year because they are not
well-protected and dirt gets into them!)"
