Havent used my 110 H/T for while, and when I looked, the roof is full of condesation. It was covered in large droplets. Is there anything that can be done to prevent. The cockpit has the headlining but not the rear. I was going to carpet the rear of my landy including the roof by using spray on glue. But dont know if its such a good idea now.

Move to a warmer climate! Otherwise, no - cold outside and slightly warmner inside makes the metal cold which causes the more water saturated denser air to lose its moisture on contact with the cold metal. It rains on me when i'm driving in tempeatures below 5 deg!

The roof in mine is lines with some sort of foam sheet, a bit like cheap underlay for carpets. Doesn't stop the condensation but keeps it from forming up into drops and dripping. I've got the standard headlining in the cab which is on it's last legs but keeps things a bit warmer. Biggest pain in the arse I find is me cd player won't work till the heater's been on it for about an hour

Having driven loads of 90's and 110's (88's and 109's before them) they have ALL suffered from this problem - solution, move to Africa, then the metal will be too hot to touch !!

Joking aside, carpet (or similar) may well improve things, but it won't cure it !!

Actually it can be cured very simply. and for absolutely no cost, In fact you could even make some money from it.

Remove the roof. No roof no condensation. :D

But on a less frivilous note Floors 2 Go (and similar outlets) sell a foil backed closed cell PU foam underlay for Laminate flooring. buy a roll of this and a big tub of EvoStik or spray adhesive and completely line the roof and sides of the hardtop (make sure you apply the adhesive to the whole panel not just dabs of it.) It's a pale grey color and it looks really nice if done tidily. It also cuts out most of the panel vibration you get in an HT and make for a quieter warmer journey

if yer gonna be sticking owt on yer roof use a special high temp glue, otherwise whatever yer stuck on will come unstuck if we ever get a summer..
yer can get special roof lining glue from Woolies Trim

they also do the roof lining and a lot of other hard to find trim bits

One of those roof van revolving vents works very well.

I'am making another in the garage at the mo, slighty less high so can get the roof rack on, as the wind turns it drives a small fan underneath and sucks out damp air.

My other worked very well, since the landy was parked in damp no sunlight spot all winter, kept the internior dry and no smell
