For Sale Complete discovery 2 rolling chassis

1999 discovery 2 rolling chassis,surface rust can't see any holes having a quick look,4l v8 possible liner or head gasket problem,never overheated but could always hear air circulating the heater matrix,good auto gearbox changed fine and smooth,rear air bags no leaks,compressor,non ace ,good axles ,brakes,diffs,possibly needs a rear wheel bearing as there was a slight noise from it,fuel tank pump,tow bar,everything on it ,I just used the body for series1 discovery conversion,located Fife Scotland £400

am looking to do same thing did you encounter any probs at back end bumper /or the electricks

Not at the stage with electrics ,bumpers etc,making up mounts for body just now ,however front,rear of engine bay,front out rigger,rear out rigger all line up,the mounts in the middle of the out riggers on the d1 are on the inside of the chassis rails on the d2 they are on the outside of chassis rails,the rear seat body mounts are different,but the rear cross member ones seam to be in the right place just too low down will have to make spacers up,but fitted better than I thought,I am just going to re wire the entire vehicle by myself keeping it simple,as I don't have abs,air bags etc,as it will be registered as a d1 on v5,and the donner was just basic so pretty much nothing to go wrong with it
