Colour coding confusion.

I do not have a RR yet. Only a few more days to go YAY.

On the one I am getting the mirrors are the same colour as the rest of the body work (red) and the mirror mounts are also red. All other RRs I have seen with colour coded mirrors they still have black mounting bracket things. Why would this be?

Someone sprayed them red?? do read too much in to it, people do stuff like that, although i have seen them, with codes mirrors, but again could have been done lets face it, it wouldn't be that hard to do, and cheep as well

So it probably never left the factory like that then?

If the bumpers arnt like that i would say no, coding is usually (when i see it) on the bumpers etc as well

But im no expert but it kida makes sense though

Well it is on the bumpers too, but I am sure I have seen colour coded bumpers but with different mirrors.

Following is a pic taken from the gallery here. Same coloured bumpers but black mirror brackets things.

Hi Mud Flap,

Hope you enjoy the new car when you get it, I've only had mine for a few months now and really love it. Mine is the Vogue SE and has just about everything painted that can be, mirrors grill, bumpers the lot. The mirror base is not however painted so I would agree with Dopey that someone must have been out with the paint can. Not sure if they may have done the same with the bumpers. The front on mine is painted right to the bottom like the gallery picture you posted. There is no black strip along the bottom edge. Not sure if this helps at all but its probably better to know up front.
