coil packs

okay now i,m baffled,i changed my coil packs today on my my2000 p38 with no improvement on my misfire problem,basically the issue is this,the spark on one half of each of the coils is very strong and the other half is very,very weak.looking at the rave cd it would appear that there is a common live feed to both coils and the switching is done by the ecu.can anyone give a clue as to where to look?

Was the replacement proved working?

well they were new, and they both have the same problem as the old ones,which I would of thought was unlikely.

And what about the leads look at in the dark see if you can see any sparks jumping

Ah sorry thought you got a used one
Maybe the signal into the coil it weak?
