Clutch too high

Just had a new master cylinder fitted today, it was fine for a few miles but now the pedal is able to rise higher than the brake pedal. the clutch is working fine and the gear changes are smooth but it just doesn't feel/look right? had a new slave back in September last year too.

on my 2.0 L series my clutch pedal is slightly higher than my Brake pedal

it sits in the correct place, in line with the brake pedal. but you can lift it up and it comes up about 3 inches and it's really loose
