What does it do for you ?

As above, what for?

By the looks of the pic it's putting more space between the slave and the push rod for the clutch lever

if you put 20 of them on then the clutch inside the cabin would only take at the bottom of the foot stroke

why one would do that mod would probably depend on where you want the clutch to bite

think long legs vs. short legs maybe

aren't there slightly different length actuator rods as well? Could be a bodge to make it work rather than using the correct length rod?

I think this might be the correct answer - our man in canada had a video on rod lengths out recently
