Clutch problems 54 Plate

Have a well looked after 54 plate Freelander.
Clutch pedal stuck down mostly when riding clutch 8n 1st or in reverse, can retrieve by hooking back up with foot. Then gear changes smooth for entire journey.
Master cylinder is losing fluid and topping up every few days. No fluid on floor in car or on ground outside(may be getting caught in built in tray underneath?
Cheapy master put on in 2021. Cannot work this one out. Help!

Look under the gearbox, to see if fluid is leaking out of the concentric slave cylinder.
