Hey guys

I wonder if any of you can help - I have a 50th Anniversary Freelance my pride and joy - just had the re propshaft replace 2 weeks ago and the clutch went yesterday - the garage tells me the whole gear box etc needs to come out to sort the clutch issue - its this the case? as the cost it about £700 - I adore my car, its low mileage and in perfect condition, its had all the usual suspects done like head gasket, thermostat, prop bearings, so dont want to sell it, so what I am asking "Is the garage correct or is there another way of getting to the clutch unit in order to check it".

Many thanks

IF the clutch is shot then yes its gearbox off :)

and of course that takes time and means lots of ££££££

Unless you do it yourself
