When I make a hard turn at slow speed I hear a single subtle banging
noise coming from the rear end of my '94 cherokee. It almost sounds like
a loose shock (but it's not). I stood on the rear bumper and rocked it
hard from left to right and could duplicate the noise going from side to
side. It sounded like it may be coming from the wheel bearings. Is there
any kind of play in this area or is something getting ready to let go?
