.I created a thread last year concerning the occasional Clunk I get when I forget and accelerate TOO hard after slowing down to negotiate a roundabout, pulling out of a junction or joining the main carriage-way from a slip road. Beside this the car drives perfectly. I have checked all the joints etc at the rear but can"t find anything that seems to be the cause of the clunking noise, I have also replaced the Exhaust Rubbers. If I drive the car in a normal manner which I do 99% of the time I never get the Clunk, it"s only when for that fraction of a second I put my foot down too hard. Any advice, help please.
cheers

Bottom engine tie bar, vcu rubber mounts, rear diff front mount, or backlash in drivetrain

This^^^^

Mine does the occasional knock at the rear. Mine is the front diff bush gone soft. I've got a replacement for it, when I have the time to do it.
