Having heard the exchange I would not call it a slanging 'match' rantings of
an idiot maybe .A discussion which starts with a string of personal insults,
strung together with totally bogus unsupportable 'facts' and shouting down
the other interviewee throughout the interview merely proves most of the
opinions held about the Rambling on society a worthy spokesman indeed and no
doubt a pal of the idiot in downing street.

Monbiot vehemantly denied the association of the Ramblers with the
Communist Society seemingly the press lie, of course the Grauniad also
employs said Monbiot

I don't think Monbiot is any sort of Blairite.
