Looking to get a v8 Efi 1998 to 1990 appart from the the general rust areas what are the other pit falls to be looking for mileage would be about 150000 klm not mutch about lower than that some good ones in Germany not far from me would you go for a referb or original thanks

Check the self leveling strut is working and doesn't leak.
Check the oil in the transfer box

The strut is used with cars on coil springs. Cars with air springs don't need them

Rrc gained air springs in 92/93 for some models

What sort of car are you looking for perfect or accept some work needed? Price range?

Genuine original Classics in good condition (corrosion is by far the biggest concern) are rare & expensive.

Refurbished are cheaper, but to what standard? .. always ask for photographic evidence of the rebuild.
The asking price is a clue to the workmanship involved

Have been looking all over the EU some good ones in Spain well the picture's are price range is from 18-28 k should get a good one for that. have to much on for a fixer up plus it would never get done
