centre diff/ transfer box trouble

im having trouble selecting 4wd/diff lock. dash light comes when i try to engage and im not having any trouble changing between high and low box.could anyone help please

Give us a clue! What kind of trouble are you having? If the dash light comes on then the centre diff is probably locked! (ie it works!)

Move lever left. Light comes on. Job done.

You don't get a crunch, wild party, mexican wave, flag waving ceremony, 21 gun salute or nowt. It just goes in.

if the light stays on when you disengage then there might be a problem if you select and it comes on and goes out when you turn off then its working,you dont get a big load of noise or dramatic celebrations to say its working it just works

with all 4 wheels jacked up off the road and three blocked only one turns with the diff lock on. i.e the diff lock dosent work
