HI All

My centre console has went dark a while back and I am now in a position to try and fix it. No display from the Sat nav or the radio.

If I press the power button on the radio it comes on and goes straight off.

When I put the diagnostic tool on it tells me the instrument panel has a no communication with the radio.

It was working but suddenly stopped.

Any ideas would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Gary

Hi

Would first take them out and ensure all the connectors / pins are clean and securely fitted

Please also ensure ur battery is fully charged, with the engine off needs to be around a min of 12.6 Vdc as if it gets low the system is designed to slowly start shutting systems off to preserve as much power as possible to the main battery

If that all checks out , With the radios , satnav out , put the ign on and wiggle the connections on the badk to see if they flitter on and off

Plse also check an electrical diagram, if u haven’t got access to one plse say and I’ll find one for u as once the fuses are identified to the satnav radio is normally best to fit new fuses as this will eliminate them , fuses can become dirty so easy to just fit new ones

There has been the case where the so,def was changed from lead to lead free and can effect the power inputs

Hope that helps in a small way
