Central locking....

Can anyone help...on my 2006 TD5 90 when pressing the unlock button on the keyfob the car unlocks but the indicator lights do not flash, the car unlocks properly and the red LED dash light doesn't do anything to tell me anything strange. However it does very occassionally flash as it is supposed to, maybe once in every 30 unlocks....
Locking the car all seems OK

Any ideas, nothing major but one of those annoying things!

Replace the key fobs battery.
