Central locking on passenger door

Hi i have 2012 xs 110. The central locking on the passenger door wont lock or unlock. Ive removed the door card. The door will lock manually but when I look a the actuator below the door lock I can see it trying when I use the fob to lock and unlock the door ie small amount of movement around the wiring as if there is some force at work. That seems to suggest I dont have an issue further back with the wiring around the hinge etc?
Does anyone know what my options could be? Also if I need a new actuator is there a great deal of difference between Genuine and Britpart part?

A good quesation, I don't know the answer but i'd be tempted to fit an AllMakes and see if it lasted.

I'd also probably take the original one out and see if it just needs cleaning or greasing ... if it works off the car maybe it's the actuator rods or the catch that needs a clean/reset ?

Thanks for that. I took your advice and took the actuator apart cleaned and oiled and now it works again.
