Central Locking Malfunction

Hi,
I have a Freelander 1, TD4 (54 plated), 2 lits auto.
My central locking drops automatically (intermittently though) & keeps dropping making a click sound (as if someone is pressing the remote lock button but it will not activate the alarm just lock all four doors). Since it is the main lock I was told to change the door lock (or latch), then the actual switch on drivers side door & then the CCU. None of them worked, any idea what else it could be?

Pull the lock switch out of the dash and unplug it, see if it stops? Likely to be the only other thing if you've already changed the drivers door lock mechanism.

Also, you could have gotten a duff drivers door catch, try unplugging that separately and see if the clunking stops!
