I am wanting the green goddess to pull a caravan I would like to fit a grey socket to run the ancillaries anyone know of where I need to connect to that is convenient, any relays required.Also rust on back wheel arch inside the door is there anywhere that does metal repair bits or will I have to fabricate?.

I got a complete genuine LR kit from famous four for my 3ootdi. Includes all the wiring and relays just clips into the fuse board via the supplied connector. Can remember wether it come with the socket though.

You need the relays especially if you want to run your fridge whilst driving. The relay only gives power when the engine is over a certain rpm, whilst on tick over no power is drained from the engine.
