Can't put the rear seats back up.

have had the seat folded up and now I have the base folded down but the seat back won't return to the vertical position. It goes up a few inches then there is a heavy clonk and it won't go any further.

If its the back seat behind the front seats???
They dont usually return when the base isn't locked down properly.
Give the base a good thump down and it should lock

I did check and drop the base a couple of times but still no go. Will have another try tomorrow.

push down on the base release lever once base is down

I find with mine I have to do base and back in one smooth motion, with a bit of speed and force and she goes up. It normally takes me 2 or 3 attempts each time. Which is annoying.

Fixed it this evening.
Tried quick operation, slamming, oiling the catch and still not working!
Then I got hold of the strap that you pull to raise the base and pushed it in the opposite direction to the unlatching/raising action while the seat base was in the down position. This released the catch stopping the seat back going up. So, hey presto the solution. Push the strap in - job done!

Can't put the rear seats back up.
