I recently purchased a Freelander 1998 soft Top. There was no booklet and i had great difficulty in taking the soft top down. I eventually managed to undo the roof clips with a claw hammer. I cannot now get them back. There appears to be a trinagular bolt which may loosen the clips but i'm not sure. Do you need a special key. I hope someone can help before it rains!

Oh heck - that bits supposed to stay fastened on even if you want the roof folded, it comes forward not back.

why not post a picture of it ??
(If I had a 3dr. and such a key was in the fuse compartment in my LH side glove box I'd done it long time already.)
