can you add-on a aircon?

quostion ?
i have an discovery 2 from 1999; it's a basic version. no air suspension
no airconditioning.

I would like to ad an airconditioning; is the wiring loom prepared for the airconditioning; can I just put the missing pieces in ?
or are there different pieces already in my car

Not sure I think so bit if you can I have all the bits if you need them..?

It's a huge job, all the dashboard has to come out to fit the vapouriser unit instead of the standard heater etc.

There are kits:

STC50078/79 For the V8
STC5008485 For the TD5

No the whole heater unit has to be replaced plus the additional engine bay kit, pipes, compressor, fan etc.

LRO mag did it once and retrofitted a/c to a RRC with the genuine kit, although there were retro kits available at the time that still retained the existing heater and the a/c unit fitted along side where the glove box would be if the RR had one.
It took two days for the professionals in a garage with all the tools to complete the job, so do able as they say.
