Typo 300 TDI in the title.

As the title says really. Need to grease my prop UJ’s ASAP really as driven about 1600 miles in my 90 so far. Didn’t realise lot of folk recommend doing it once a month at least? I haven’t been off-roading in it yet though and its just on the road miles?

if anyone could recommend a suitable greasing gun, that will fit? There’s so much choice and I very new to this sort of thing lol. I have heard that Morris K48 Molly grease is a good option for the Grease itself?

thanks and any help appreciated

To be honest any grease gun will do, but I would also get a flexible hose to fit the gun,
If you then remove the end nozzle screw in the flexible hose putting the nozzle on you will reach the nipples without to much trouble,
Sometimes the nozzles are slightly too large to fit between the UJ so may need grinding slightly so it can lock onto the nipples securely,

The tip about grinding down the grease gun ends is what I do.
Even then you have to rotate the prop until the yokes are at the best angle to get the end onto the nipple.
Monthly is overkill unless your are doing some serious off road stuff, otherwise couple of times a year will be fine for off road use.
