cam cover

I am about to replace cam cover gasket and the little grommets on the fixing bolts on my 2005 TD5. I see aftermarket ones at a fraction of price of genuine L/R parts. Have any of you chaps used aftermarket ones successfully or would you suggest stick to genuine part.?

Don't see why you can't use them its not as if landrover were any good at keeping oil in the engine from new with there own gaskets........

Thin need of rtv sealant also helps keep the gasket in place on the can cover and the oil in.

I've never had a problem with non-LR ones, but I do add some RTV before fitting. The front one is easy, the rear one can be a pain.
