i noticed when on the plain last sunday there was a buzzing coming from behind the instrument binnacle..

it seemed to be intermittant..

any ideas what i should look at first?..as to what it may be?..
and before you say it no there aint ant wasps or bees in there:D
 
sounds like speedo cable or drive, is the needle bouncy too?
 
by flicking I don't mean the 0-30 bounce it's noticeable at other speeds.
 
Problem with mine is the speedo input is noisy.
Replaced cable as shot- but as the speedo head is shielded so lubricating the bushes is not possible.
Clocks face down on bench and lube in input may quieten it for a while, Short of removing glass it is not possible to look at further.
