Buying my first defender this weekend

Hi Everyone ,

I will be buying my first defender this weekend a 2009 puma 90. I know these things are prone to rust. The car only looks like it has 2 bad spots.

I just wanted to ask for some advice on if this in the pictures would be fixable/preventable ?

its the chassis that gives most problems with rust.

Hi and welcome!

it is treatable. But as said, make sure the chassis is good, and the bulkhead as these are structural and expensive to replace. And spend on decent security measures too as landies are very popular with thieves.
