L Series Freelander, 2002, 146K Miles - yours for £3,700.

Oh, and the owner has thrown in nice new tyres on the front wheels.

The 2002 bit is "genuine" - probably about 1/5 of the pre MY01 cars (the ones only sold up to early 2000) on NZ roads were first registered in 2002. So they were sitting somewhere for over 2 years then popped up in NZ and registered during 2002 with the records showing they had only delivery mileage on them (eg 10 or 20 kms).
 
I am very tempting to buy it off the pictures, it must be really good for that price.;);)

Drivers seat seems to have an interesting modification on the side bolster.

About the same price as 2002 TD4s are listed at - L Series is better than them, so yeh bargain :) :)

I only paid $700 (£350) more than that for mine 6 years ago with under 100k kms on it - still got way less than that car - so mine hasn't devalued at all :)

Yes, dipsticks are a problem.

Is that why the Queen has sent no ships to participate in our navy celebrations and to assist at Kaikoura? She is worried about their stability over here. Just as well Japan, Canada, China, Singapore, Australia and USA don't have dipstick issues.

I think our ships are all at sea on duty. Those that int are broke'd.

I confidently h'expect the h'dmiral of the fleet to be posting in the Freelander section for a few tips on busted drive trains...:confused:

If HMS Ocean ever develops an oil leak, we should refer him to the trattor boys... them knows about puddles of oil.​

lol, I had to snap this one last Friday. Stopped at our lodgings and the Freelander marked its territory :)
