Hi all.
Looks my brilliant FL2 may have given up the ghost....I want another one.....I assume that when I buy, it is advisable to get cam belt, water pump etc changed as well as a service......how much should this cost....ball park figure?

Hi Buel10
Real name is always good at the bottom of your posts, yes get belts and water pump done if you have no proof they have not been done in the last 2 years, gates are best to use.

You will need the drive belt also.

OAT coolant

All the above if you are doing them your self.

If you are using a garage then they should supply the above when doing the job, do not get the items above and then have a garage do the work, if anything goes wrong they will blame the parts, and the supplier of the parts will blame the garage.

I see you are in Wrexham you could try Baz.

I'm sure he will give you a good quote for all the above and a service, i don't know him personally but have seen his videos he seems to know what he's doing

Sounds like you might be able to fix the current one… (your other thread re. snapped belt), at least you know it’s history.

Mate I would love to keep my current one but the engine not starting following the snapped belt is a concern....and she's done 207,00 miles too 🤔
