burning rubber smell

maybe just started to do this..

yesterday had to stop car as very strong burning rubber smell..defo rubber..
but could find nothing burning or hot..

checked..tyres,air bags,supercharger belt (surpentine,does everything)wheel bearings(hubs),exhaust for plastic bags etc,under seat where eas ecu is,under dash..infact just about everywhere,but nothing..

it did this when hitting 70 on boost...and smell got stronger faster i went..now just infront of where i stopped i noticed as pulling off a man looking down at his blown out van tyre....so i thought..dooooh! its him!!smell got stronger as i was getting closer to him...dooh..

BUT..it did it again today...no man with van today..smell seems to be in car,not from outside...

i have no idea where it coming from.....any ideas where to look???any thoughts atall as i looked(sniffed)everywhere!!

(my thoughts where slipping supercharger belt,but it aint that..

smell is just like burning tyres..ie rubber..

Gearbox oil smells like burning rubber. Just a thought...

Does the prop shaft have a rubber donut on it ?

Heater blower motor? A shorted or burning blower motor or cooking wires might make the inside smell a bit.

From what I know about your Supercharged Beasty - could it have been wheel spinning at 70???
