Terra Guard Fabrications

I'm thinking about starting a rock crawler project and I need a couple
recommendations.

Price is an issue but I want to get the right parts for the job.

1) Engine (Which one)

2) Driveline (Transmission, transfer case and axels) I'd prefer not to have
to go with 2 cases so which ever transmission / case I can get with a LOW
1st gear and a good low 4L would be good. I'm thinking about going with full
lenth Dana44s unless I can find an old 1 Ton and pull the 60s off.

3) Long travel coilovers (brand)

Thanks

Find an Isuzu Amigo with the Isuzu 2.8L Turbo Diesel 4JB1 direct injection
engine (I presume you're in the USA, they're called Amigos there and MUs
here in NZ, also the 4JB1 is rare in the US but common here.) and install
the TeraLow low ratios, a SAS at the front replacing the stock IFS with a
Dana 44, front and rear vacuum lockers, and SOA both ends.

A very effective short wheelbase offroader. have a look at the ITOG site,

You maybe able to get some ideas from the following web site. The Jackyl
lookslike an interesting vehicle.
