Build year

i have what I thought was a 1989 landrover 90 .. due to a change to the veteran vehicle tax on the Isle of Man I sent the details to the British motor industry heritage trust for a certified copy of a factory record they came back that it’s build and dispatch dates are both the 8th of June 1990 but going of the chassis number it’s 1989 ( SALLDVAB7FA).

Yes. I bought a 1994 Defender to discover that it had a series 3 bulkhead, 200tdi doors, 200tdi NS wing and a Series offside wing. SIII electricals, 2002 front axle, very early brakes (possibly from a 1990 110), a 1994 tub and an earlier roof (possibly a Series) ...
The chassis is different bits welded together.
Overall it's a 'Bitsa' with a 2014 LR supplied recon engine. The VIN says its a 300tdi 1994 though ....
