I took the undertray off to change the oil filter seems it was the only thing holding up the exhaust
In the haynes it should have a bracket that fits on to the sump but its not there so its been hanging off the manifold,
The joint below the pre cat parted and the pipe dropped onto the sub frame
I can only think that the pipe has moved/been pushed up by the plastic tray and fractured due to over enthusiastic laning:doh:
On flea bay the manifolds run about £180 but luckily a good man with a welder fixed it and fabricated a bracket to hold it up
The next thing is to sort out a alloy under tray to stop the exhaust getting clattered by a bendy plastic /rock inter-phase if you know what I mean.
