Broken down in Prague

I have a 110 1992 200tdi that has broken down in prague full with toys and food for an orphanage i volunteer at.
The symtoms are, turning on full or near full lock makes a clicking/ clunking sound.
Then while driving a random grinding sound appears then disappears.
Also when the car is jacked up then you put it on full lock when i tried to spin the front right tyre turns then locks and then bounced back???
A local mecanic said its the diff or the axle. but a friend said it sounds like the cv joint??
Any clues or if you know a good place to get it fixed please help. its cold out here.

i would have thought CV joint too.
