Looks like I might need to replace my brake servo on the landy and the ones for series 3's are a bit expensive but I found one for a disco is cheaper, does anyone know whether you can use the later servo's on the earlier models or what else I might be able to use thats a bit cheaper!! And yes before you ask I am a cheap bastard!

Its a diesel and its rusty underneath.

cost more to get a later second hand a to get it to fit

if you have no servo assistance check the butterfly valve in the inlet pipe is closed on tickover, sometimes the hand throttle is adjusted to give a higher tickover when the screw on the pump should be used, the hand throttle opens the butterfly valve and loses vacuum , ... no servo!
