Brake fluid level switch replacement.

Hi All

My P38 brake fluid low level switch seems to have given up the ghost with the alarm coming up even though fluid level was fine. I disconnected the cable to the switch and linked the two wires together which made the annoying bleep and red light go away. Question now is can I remove the switch and can I obtain a replacement or do I have to buy a new reservoir?
Any advice appreciated
