I bought a laser printer (on work budget) and used it to print out the parts catalogues and workshop manual for exactly that kind of question....so I took two of them off, which way round do they go back on!

The Brake pipe runs along the rear of the axle to each side, so it enters the side of the slave cylinder nearest to the back of the axle, left input for left, right input for right. I've just completely rebuilt mine, new everything, so also had this fun.
