Hello all, anyone know the part number for series 3 (1983) front brake adjusters, they are not the RTC3176 ones, as these are too small, see att photo. I need to replace the original swaged ones which I have ground off to remove from hub. The brakes have two wheel cylinders. Old ones at bottom of pic, rtc 3176 at top.

Strangely it's the same part number for the adjusters for pretty much all the landy drum brakes. Is it just that the lower ones in your photo are worn? I don't think the replacements are peened over, I think they're all nut and bolt.

I see what you mean with the picture but are they actually any bigger? Is the distance between the edge of the hole and the tip of the snail any different, they look very similar. I think the fact that the 'bigger' one starts further out from the hole is making it look bigger.

Thanks Oxides for your answer, I looked on net & saw a few ads for the original ones which as you say are peened/swaged but they seemd to be only available in USA. But looked on net & got instructions for the new set as I was thrown by the fact that the new set had 8 snail cams, 4 of silver, 4 of black. But having read the instructions it became clear. I thought I needed 2 snails for each brake shoe, thats why I thought the holes were too small in snails. Turns out only one is needed & the spring goes inside the drum not outside like the originals. So eventually problem solved.

Thanks Rattlegun for your answer. I will take a photo of the 2 adjusters to show the distances & will upload it later today.
