Braided Fuel Hose

I’ve been experience some issues with the my 300 Tdi starting. It turns out my braided fuel hose pipes have perished. Obviously I’m looking to replace.

My questions is should I just buy a length of house and simple push the hose onto the connectors as it is now:

Or should I buy hoses lengths with connectors on this ?

None of mine is braided.

I have just used ordinary fuel pipe with a jubilee clip at each end.

The choice is yours!

I got fabric braided on the leak off pipes, and a small section of the same coming off the fuel tank to the main feed line (which is currently leaking, need to sort that out )
