bought a landy with no locks

Ive just bought a landy with no locks on the doors as the door skins were replaced so needs the hole cutting out. Can anyone advice me how hard this is and how i know where to put the holes..

Sorry to be vague, just need to buy it get it home andput locks on in one day, before someone decides to have a look inside

Any photo's? The locks are usually part of the handle assembly and don't need a hole cut out in the skin (unless they are antiburst locks / skins)

I dont mate, as I havnt got it yet, I can see the handles just apparently no locks... I know if baffled me to.

heres the reply I got "it has never had door locks since the new door bottoms were fitted so new locks will need purchasing and holes drilling into the door skin to fit, alternatively used door handles with locks can be purchased from ebay and fitted

You could always do a mr bean and stick a padlock on the door

Perhaps the guy your buying it off had just slide hammered them out before nicking it

I'm sure you're insurance company would like it to have locks though. Handles and locks are cheap enough though, i've just ordered some for my new door bottoms when I eventually get them on.

dont drill the cheap scate as put passanger door handles on of a station wagon buy handles with locks dont **** about with drilling

Cheers yeah they seem cheap enough on eBay I'm just waiting for the Landy to turn up but what locks sorting so it doesn't go walkies

Are thy pop riveted in place does anyone know

Seeing as you need to put locks on, would it be worth putting anti-burst locks on or does doing that need more work than the standard ones?
