bottom edge door seals for Lightweight FFR - any alternatives?

Hi, I recently bought the retainers for the bottom edge of the right and left hand doors (part numbers 346231 and 346232) of my 76 lightweight FFR. I believe the rubber seals are no longer stocked, so sourcing them is a bit of a mare. I've heard that a reasonable alternative might be to modify a Safari Door seal (part number 332564). They can be sourced on Craddocks.

Does anyone have experience of this or - wishful thinking - know where I could source an original seal from?
