boot door handle keeps gettin stuck ?

hello
i have a 93 disco !!

it opens wen unlocked but as i open it the handle gets stuck there so wen i close it it will not open, even from the inside!!

so i have to take the land rover badge off to push it back !!! avent had a look at it in detail but is ther a return spring or something as it opens all the time wen it doesnt get stuck ??? so i dnt think its the little spring in the lockin mechnisum

Hi try spraying with wd40 ect. down the lock key inserts, and around the release handle.
worked when mine was sticking

And give a good spray inside when you have the badge off.
