Nope, I am not French, but i am about to purchase my first Landy!
DISCOVERY METROPOLIS TD5 SAT NAV (2003) - I am nervous about it, but the time has come, not because i need one (do most people!) but becuase it has been offered to me on a plate.
I am about to get into trading 4x4 and hopefully the luxury car market, but in a small way to start, from my home to be honest.
Anyway, having worked for a prestige dealership in EDI in Scotland, i still have a few contacts and have been offered the above car for a stonking price, or at least from a quick view it would seem that way.
I have been offered the car at £11,995 (below trade price by £500) and it has only done 63k, 1 owner, and is pretty much immaculate - 1 lady owner!
Anyway, from what i can see, i cannot find a decent one for less than 15-16k and it is some spec!
I am really looking forward to giving it the once over on Saturday before saying a definate yes, but i would be really grateful to hear others opinion on this apparantly ltd edition and also on TD% and Landy ownership in general.
Cheers,
David
