What OS map do I need.
I've looked on their website but can only find bridle paths.

Try your local map shop or the OS web site ... and no, I'm not going
to give you the URL - you've got to start your research somewhere :)

You buy the 1:50,000 OS map for the area you're interested in. You then
either contact the local club or go to the local county council and
spend an afternoon marking the map from *the definitive map*. The OS
maps do not reflect legality of routes as rights of way for vehicles
especially since, with respect to green lanes, these are rapidly
changing ...

For your reference, current BOATs should continue to be legal but I
believe (feel free to correct me) that RuPPs will become restricted
byways and will be illegal for vehicles from early December unless
individually reclassified to a BOAT ... get onto GLASS or LARA's sites -
they should have further info.
