I'm going to board out the back of my landy ready for a trip to tunis. I'm going to board across from one side of the other front to back so we can sleep in the back in we have too. Underneath we can keep containers containing all our bits and pieces.
I was going to use 25mm marine ply but after seeing the cost I am going to have to think again. Anyone got any thoughts or ideas. I don't really want to use shuttering ply.

If you are planning on keeping the set up for a long time to come i would just pay the extra and be done with it

19mm shuttering ply will do the job at a fraction of the price mate if you aint going swimming with yer landy there is no need for marine grade ;)

But it's also the weight of it all ?
I suppose 3 pieces of 19mm short vertical londitudinal pieces, with a 13mm flat deck glued and screwed to vertical londitudinal pieces would give rigidity, without too much weight.
Even a thought to a center piece of the flat deck that could be on hinges, so can lift up, to ease access the under compartments?

If you don't want to fork out for marine ply you are probably not gonna want to buy ali,

Strong, light, and when the back door is locked everything stored underneath is secure. Also it will last forever and can be taken out in 10 minutes.
