I'm posting this under Series Land Rovers as I couldn't find a better fit for the topic - admins please move if I missed it.
I have a SWB 1969 Series 2A. At some point in its past, somebody cut down a LWB hard top to size and "fixed" it in place. The sides were either original, or from another SWB, as they don't appear to have been cut to size.
When I removed the hard top, there was evidence of a very old seal along the top of the windscreen, but nothing along the top of the sides. I don't know if the original hard top got damaged (falling tree?) and a LWB one cut to size because it was available, or if the hard top was added later, and this was originally a truck cab or full tilt.
So I got a BMI certificate. 6.c) says hood (top) Not Applicable
I think this means it was originally a hard top.
Does anyone have a BMI Certificate that says something else for hood (top) - one that explicitly mentions full or half tilt, for instance?
