Blend motors delete/ motorcycle choke cable

Hi I’ve been having problems with my hevac from the blend motors, so I am going now to remove the hot/cold blend motor and put a choke cable, and going to delete the ducts that goes to the rear and the front passenger and drive feet. Now my question is is there a way to access the motors without removing the whole dash ? And anyone put use this method?

I did a version of this when mine packed up in the winter. I only bothered with the drivers side (right), easy to get to once the duct to the rest is out of the way.

I thought the was extra a/c stuff on the left? Never tried as everything i read said it was well buried?

Just dropped glove box cut piece of plastic ducting out of way and there it was on mine.

Why fix it when you can bodge it
